I am an Independent Educational Consultant and mother of four in Northern Virginia with a passion for helping teenagers through the college admissions process. I help students determine what they want out of their college experience, help them curate a list of schools that match their goals, and guide them through the application and admissions process.

For over fifteen years, I worked as a high school counselor supporting students within all realms of counseling with a primary focus on career exploration and college planning.  In 2019, I founded Deliberately Designed to provide more in-depth support to families through the college application and admissions process. I enjoy helping students start to think about college as more than just a game in admissions but a place for them to grow as an individual that will help them reach their academic and career goals. I value getting to know students, building relationships, helping them explore and reflect upon their future hopes and dreams, and providing them a path to follow to keep them confident and on track through the entire college exploration and application process.
